At Step Down, our work is about creating safe, supportive homes where young people can feel valued, listened to, and cared for. You don’t need to have worked in social care before to be part of that.
What matters to us is your ability to show empathy, build trust, and offer consistency to a young person who may not have had that before. If you’re someone who cares about people, takes the time to understand others, and wants to do something meaningful day to day, you may already have what it takes.
